    Krones Showroom received the German Brand Award

  • Strolling through a beverage line, looking at machine details in a three-dimensional space and discussing the layout of an entire line from different perspectives: the Krones showroom offers a real virtual experience - right from the desk.

    Already in 2020, Krones went online with its showroom, in which 3D models of selected machines and systems could be experienced virtually. Especially in the case of the MetaPure recycling plant, the tool offers real added value - not only in the highly virtual pandemic period: in reality, several hundred square meters in size, every corner of the plant can now be accessed online, conveniently from your home screen.

    Not only those who have already been able to use and experience the showroom live are enthusiastic - the jury of the German Brand Award also liked the concept and the implementation so much that they awarded the Krones showroom the German Brand Award 2022 as "Winner" in the in the “Excellence in Brand Strategy and Creation – Brand Communication – Point of Sale” category.

    The showroom was originally planned as a reaction to the trade fair cancellations during the Covid-19 pandemic, but it has now established itself as an integral part of product communication. Because a decisive advantage has made the tool interesting regardless of the pandemic, is its permanent, location-independent availability. In this way, concrete virtual discussions can also be held "at the machine". The tool can therefore be used spontaneously and flexibly without a long lead time - this is one of the reasons why the decision was made to further develop and expand the showroom independently of the course of the pandemic.

    The expansion phase of the tool started just in time for the preparations for drinktec 2022. With a canning line including a process section, as well as lines for aseptic applications or filling in returnable glass bottles and CSD in PET containers, Krones can then give interested customers an overview of its line portfolio – and its expertise as a turnkey provider for filling and packaging can be experienced virtually make.
