High speeds and fast format changes – The mask technology of the new FK IT series made by Robatech promotes an efficient gluing process in industrial coating applications.
The compact coating application heads of the FK IT series are designed for continuous and intermittent coating with a maximum application width of 75 mm. Thermoplastic adhesives in the low- to medium-viscosity range are processed. The application nozzles ensure precise cut-off for a precise application pattern also at high speeds and fast switching times.
With the new touch protection ConnectorCover, the Robatech hotmelt application systems are fully insulated – from melting device to applicator head. This increases operator safety and reduces heat radiation at the joints.
The ConnectorCovers are part of our proven GreenLine family. They feature heat-resistant CoolTouch insulation, which significantly increases operational safety and ensures a sustainable and resource-friendly production.
Robatech has added a new member to the Diamond Series. The single-acting electro-pneumatic AX Diamond application heads are CoolTouch insulated, which increases operator safety.
The sturdy jetting heads in the AX Diamond series are exceptionally well-suited for the no-contact application of thermoplastic hotmelt adhesive used in closures on secondary cardboard packaging in the packaging industry and for other uses in the lower to mid-speed range. The AX Diamond series' high reliability and sustainability is impressive.
On January 22, 2014, Robatech AG broke ground for its new expansion in Muri / AG. The roof will hold an innovative solar power system that should meet half of the company's energy needs.

At the beginning of November 2013, Robatech launched two new products on the market: SpineCoat and SideBead system solutions. With SpineCoat and SideBead application solutions, Robatech AG has developed two gluing systems specifically suited for retrofitting bookbinding machines and designed for the clean gluing of book spines. The modular structure – jets, adjustable holder and mounting plate – enable Robatech to customize the unit required specifically to the customer's needs for every retrofit.

On August 16th the owners of Ikiler Ticaret S.A. and Robatech have signed an agreement to take over 100% of the shares of Ikiler Company into the Robatech Group. This year 1800 manufacturers and designers from 58 countries competed for the “red dot award”. This is the seal of quality for aesthetic form and sustainable trends. The internationally recognised design competition is advertised by the Design Centre in North Rhine-Westphalia. The award includes the areas of development and manufacturing of leading Robatech AG adhesive application systems. A 30 person jury made up of top class international experts had the difficult task of reviewing 4515 products. They considered different criteria such as the level of innovation, functionality, self-explanatory quality and ecological compatibility. Robatech’s electromechanical Speedstar™ Diamond application heads belong to this year’s winners, achieving one of the coveted awards.
