In April 2013 as part of its product expansion strategy «iPlast» has started production of reusable plastic layer pads.
This has become possible as a result the Company’s acquisition of the polymeric sheet beading line.
The new product of the company — the polymeric container for household waste — enters the Russian market. This came to be the first plastic 1100 l trash container produced by the Russian company.
The trash container having been designed together with western manufacturers in accordance with DIN EN 840 standard is meant for collection of household and industrial waste. The item weighs 51.5kg, its interior volume makes 1100 liter, and loading capacity reaches 510 kg. The product has 4 integral handles, 4 heavy-duty wheels, and is also equipped with a special construction for gripping mechanism. The container is made of high quality virgin raw material and therefore is more reliable when used in winter conditions (operating temperatures lie between −40 and +60 degrees Celsius).
Back in November 2011 iPlast recorded it had completed designing the container with 900 kg loading capacity, which is being shipped to consumers of synthetic rubber on a regular basis since May 2012.
Meeting the demands of its customers, iPlast has designed a new product – a container with loading capacity of 1080 kg. The new container (including its lid) is being produced by the unique advanced technology of low pressure molding with structural foaming. The item has dimensions of 1450 x 1125 x 1100 mm and weighs 53 kg.
The new molding machine operating low-pressure molding technology with structural foaming has been mounted on iPlast production site in Nizhnekamsk. Its capacity makes 300 tons of polymeric products per month.
What makes the machine unique is its capability to produce extra strong large-sized polymeric items weighting up to 45 kg at optimum work load of equipment. The machine has a total output capacity of 1000 kg per hour. The first production lot on the new molding machine has been output.
In March 2012 «iPlast» specialists have finished the acceptance of injection molding machine Engel 5500 at manufacturing plant in Austria.
The molding machine trial run and the release of the first production lot passed successfully. And now within a month the equipment will be delivered to Nizhnekamsk.
Since February 2012 iPlast company started production of storage trays Logic Store of a new standard color — red. Until now this kind of product had only one standard color — blue. The trays of other colors were manufactured only against special customers’ orders.
Expansion of color assortment will meet the needs of customers who use the trays in their production, for organization of storage of small parts and components.
iPlast declares it has completed engineering and has begun testing at the consumer of polymeric container with load-carrying capacity of 900 kg. The container is produced under innovative molding technology.
Working out of the higher capacity container is a main requirement of the biggest European tire plants which utilize synthetic rubber as basic raw material.
In September 2011 iPlast signed a contract for delivery of RL-KLT 6147 polymeric containers to «Bently Motors», the world-known British automobile manufacturer of Premium cars. In October the current year a large lot of the product was shipped to the client.
It is important to note that the batch of containers for this considerable client was produced with the «Bently Motors» logo.
Delegation of SIBUR headed by its general director Dmitry Konov visited production facilities of iPlast Ltd. for the purpose of acquaintance.
The guests were taken to survey the plant in operation and evaluate the whole product range of the company. They got to know about advanced developments for petrochemicals, namely about plastic container for rubbers with 900 kilos loading capacity. iPlast management presented its analyses of SIBUR-iPlast mutual projects currently in action and outlined the opportunities for further cooperation of the two companies.
In June 2011 Bureau Veritas Certification certified that the Management System of iPlast had been audited and found to be in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 international standard and had been awarded therefore a Certification of Conformity with validity period of 3 years.
Obtaining the Certification is a result of an independent evaluation of the successful activity of iPlast management and personnel in the sphere of improvement of the quality of products and services.
