iPlast - is the Russian largest manufacturer of plastic packaging for materials handling, including a wide range of plastic pallets , waste bins, pallet containers, industrial plastic boxes
Delegation of SIBUR headed by its general director Dmitry Konov visited production facilities of iPlast Ltd. for the purpose of acquaintance.
The guests were taken to survey the plant in operation and evaluate the whole product range of the company. They got to know about advanced developments for petrochemicals, namely about plastic container for rubbers with 900 kilos loading capacity. iPlast management presented its analyses of SIBUR-iPlast mutual projects currently in action and outlined the opportunities for further cooperation of the two companies.
In June 2011 «Bureau Veritas Certification» certified that the Management System of «iPlast» had been audited and found to be in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 international standard and had been awarded therefore a Certification of Conformity with validity period of 3 years.
Obtaining the Certification is a result of an independent evaluation of the successful activity of «iPlast» management and personnel in the sphere of improvement of the quality of products and services.
“iPlast” Ltd. is expanding its park of production machinery. In June 2011 the contract with Austrian company Engel Austria GmbH is signed for manufacturing and delivery of an automatic molding machine with clamping force of 5500 ton.
Putting into operation of the most powerful in CIS countries molding machine made by the biggest European producer will enable the Company to develop the assortment of the molded products weighing up to 45 kg.
«iPlast» Ltd. announces the completion of engineering a new type of polymeric large-size container (1450 х 1150 х 1100 mm) with load-carrying capacity of 900kg for synthetic rubber packaging and transportation for export.
It is a joint Russian-German elaboration. In June 2011 the Test Report from the German Scientific Research Institute was received proving that this type of container maintains static load up to 6000 kg.
The new machine enables injection molding of polymeric products with up to 5 kg weight.
Upon commission of the Engel 1000 in addition to the Krauss Maffei 1600 (which was placed into operation in January 2011), the Company significantly expands its product range of plastic containers and mid-size items.
In 2010 «iPlast» announced a project on development of BottleRack™, the plastic pallet for 19liter bottles. In February 2011 the Company started manufacturing BottleRack™ on Krauss Maffei 3200.
BottleRack™ plastic pallet (1200x1000x380mm, 20kg) is a patented development of the Company. It significantly prolongs bottles’ service life and considerably reduces costs for in-stock storage of bottled water as well as of its delivery to distribution centers or ultimate consumers.
